Feeding the future of food

From the depths of our past comes a tiny organism shaping the future: Chlorella. Food-tech startup AlgMighty (formerly “AlgaeforFood”) is harnessing the power of this microalgae to help feed a growing world. Founded by protein farmer Ewoud de Voogd and microalgae specialist Dr. Marieke Vanthoor-Koopmans, AlgMighty developed advanced tech to farm algae without sunlight, producing a protein-rich powder ideal as a drop-in replacement for non-sustainable food additives in a range of products including sauces, snacks, soups and vegan cheeses.

Working closely with AlgMighty’s founders and key stakeholders, VENGEAN developed the Brand Strategy, Story, Name, Visual Identity and Website, capturing the Brand Theme “Feeding the Future of Food.” The visual identity centers around a mesh of primal art work inspired by the style of Dutch Masters and modern, bold colors, shapes and photography co-created with AI, resulting in a highly distinctive look and feel among AlgMighty’s sustainable food-tech competitors.
